Bid Manager AI Free Trial

Build Better Tenders, Without Building a Bigger Bid Team

Blue Opal Advisory combines proven Defence tendering methodology, practical coaching and the Bid Manager AI-Assistant, deployed within your own Microsoft 365 environment, helping your team prepare stronger responses and retain control of every submission.
Eligibility and next steps are confirmed directly with Blue Opal Advisory. See Terms and Conditions below.
A Familiar Tendering Problem
Tendering can pull senior people away from the work that keeps the business moving. Opportunities are spread across multiple portals, deadlines arrive quickly, compliance requirements are extensive and each response can feel like starting again.
For Australian SMEs, the cost is not limited to external bid support. It is also the time, focus and momentum lost when key people are diverted into weeks of searching, drafting, checking and reformatting.
Blue Opal Advisory has built a different model: one that helps your business establish a secure, repeatable bid management capability of its own.
What You Will Trial
A practical bid management capability, not another standalone subscription.
The trial introduces your team to a practical bid management approach supported by the Bid Manager AI-Assistant.

Bid Manager AI-Assistant
The Bid Manager AI-Assistant supports the process from tender receipt through triage, drafting and review. It helps produce structured first drafts faster, track requirements and prompt the team at key stages, while every judgement, approval and submission remains with your Bid Manager.
The Bid Manager AI-Assistant is deployed within your own Microsoft 365 environment using Microsoft Copilot Studio. Your existing security controls continue to apply, supporting Australian data residency, alignment with the ASD Essential Eight and use within your organisation’s established Defence Industry Security Program environment.
What Makes Blue Opal Advisory Different
1. Bid Expertise Comes First
This is not generic software presented as a substitute for tender expertise. Blue Opal Advisory brings proven Defence and government bid-management experience, including three major ASDEFCON contract wins. The technology supports an established methodology; it does not replace it.
2. A Human Remains Accountable
AI can help draft, organise, track and prompt. It does not make the final call. Every output is reviewed and approved by the responsible Bid Manager, keeping your team in control of what is said, what is submitted and which risks are accepted.
3. Capability is Transferred to Your Team
Many software providers give you access to a platform. Many bid consultants are structured so you keep returning for the next response. Blue Opal Advisory takes a different approach: practical coaching, guided use on a real tender, training materials, user guides, documentation and an AI-use policy help your team become more capable and independent.
4. The Capability Lives in Your Environment
There is no need to send sensitive tender information into a separate external platform. The solution is deployed within your own Microsoft 365 tenant, where your organisation’s access, governance and security settings apply. Your data stays yours and is not used to train public AI models.
5. It is Designed for Australian SMEs
The model is intended to make structured bid management more accessible to smaller Australian businesses, particularly those selling into Defence and government. It is built around the constraints SMEs actually face: limited internal capacity, expensive specialist support and the need to demonstrate a return on every investment.
The Free Trial Offer
Blue Opal Advisory is inviting Australian SMEs to experience the Bid Manager AI-Assistant in a practical free trial.
The trial is designed to help both parties assess:
- whether the capability suits your current tendering environment;
- where it can reduce manual effort and strengthen consistency;
- how it can fit within your existing Microsoft 365 workflows; and
- what a broader implementation and capability uplift would involve.
The free trial is open to any Australian SME that meets the eligibility requirements in the Terms and Conditions below. The special 50% foundation participant price is available to the first five qualifying companies that complete the trial and sign the relevant engagement contract, subject to the Foundation participant offer terms below.
Tell us about your organisation and current tendering process. We will contact you to confirm eligibility and the next step. See Terms and Conditions below.
